I also used 'self hypnosis' during my flight home. Even though the weather was fine when I left Brisbane the weather in Mackay was very thundery and overcast - so not good conditions for someone with a fear of flying!!

Anyway, soon after take off the flight got a bit bumpy so I started my self-hynosis, using every bump, thump and noise to send me deeper and deeper into relaxation. It was a bit difficult to begin with, but I managed to achieve a good state of relaxation - and quite enjoyed the flight!! AN ABSOLUTE FIRST FOR ME."
